Ulefone have released the second Android 5.0 Lollipop Beta Development Rom of their Ulefone Be Pro, which is almost stable enough for daily use.
When Ulefone launched their Ulefone Be Pro, one of the promises that the device carried, was the update for Android Lollipop. Now they have just launched the second Beta Rom, and we can consider now, Lollipop a reality on Ulefone Be Pro.
While the first beta had a considerable list of bugs reported by testers, the second has fixed a great part of them, and knowing this, we can say Ulefone is stepping close to a stable build and soon, finally, to the official update.
The second beta gets support for Dual Sim and LTE, both working pretty well. The internal speaker works even better than on Kitkat, but we still expecting more improvement from it, off-screen gestures have been implemented on this Beta, and LED control returns too, aside to the adaptive backlight.
The only presented bugs are the missing of Mediatek Miravision Setup, HotKnot support and some issues with few applications crashing just after start.
We can see most of improvements, and feel one of the most stable builds of Lollipop on this SoC, checking the video below:
Ulefone made some mistakes in the past, but they are on the road trying to fix them. And we can consider at least, they are trying to deliver a good and complete user experience with Lollipop.
