Vivo X5Pro teased and leaked, Funtouch 2.0 Lollipop also spotted

Vivo have posted teasers of a pro variant on the Vivo X5, and leaks show us what the phone looks like and what it is running.

What we are really all waiting for is a new Vivo Xshot and Vivo Xplay, but as Vivo don’t want to accommodate us with those devices yet, a new version of the Vivo X5 will have to suffice.

Vivo released the original X5 not long ago so it will be interesting to see how customers will react to the news that their phone is now outdated. The Vivo X5 Pro shows has a few updates including dual speakers, updated HIFI and 2.5D display.

Gizchina News of the week

A Snapdragon 615 is still in use, but now the octacore processor will be running Funtouch 2.0 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. This is great news for us Vivo users who have been waiting for an update for months. Let’s hope Lollipop will roll out on all Vivo devices.

If you think about it the xplay 3s was released December 2013 so technically they didn’t release a flagship phone in 2014 and at this rate they won’t get one out this year either!!

i think cause of late production of xplay 3s as they released december and went on sale april or march, so now they will release when production is ready

If the xplay is delayed much longer then I’ll be expecting something really special! If it uses the sd810 it’s gonna be outdated before it’s released at this rate so I’ll be wanting an SOC with A72 cores!
