Due to the success of their popular V919 Air tablet, Onda have announced an upgraded variant that boasts better specifications all around, as well as 4G FDD and TDD LTE support.
The new tablet has the same screen as its previous incarnation, meaning a 9.7-inch display witha resolution of 2048 x 1536. This gives it a 4:3 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 264ppi, similar to that of an iPad Air. The screen also goes up to a brightness level of 300 lumens, which is fairly bright. That high resolution display is ran by a MediaTek MT8752 1.7GHz octa-core processor with Mali-T760 GPU.
Gizchina News of the week
The rest of the specifications include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 5MP rest camera, a 2MP front camera and a pretty large 7500mAh battery. The new V919 Air also supports dual band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and 4K video playback.
The new tablet will set you back at 1199 Yuan ($193). It’s still unknown whether the company will be releasing another variant with more storage, but given the success of their current line up there’s a pretty good possibility that there will be a variant with more storage.
I agree with you, but luckily there is quite a big community around those devices. Custom ROMs do the trick mostly.
There is on mine but I broke my SD shot do can’t update anything now unfortunately.
I also agree with you. Since I got an older v972 some months ago I started to suffer it like hell. Continous software issues, charging problems that were never solved……a nightmare that desperately made me sent it back to china. I was sent a new one but sold it straight away. Never an Onda again.
Now, I’ve got a 9″7 Cube that I’ve enjoyed since the beginning.
I bought my friend a Teclast P98 tablet with a 9.7″ 2k Sharp IGZO display, stunning tablet with excellent ROM, only downside is the stereo speakers are way too quiet. My next tab will probably be a Teclast too. Also got a cube dual boot tablet which is also great, in fact they all seem great compared to the onda!!
Gotta agree with you about Teclast tablets, i’ve just bought a Teclast P80 3G with MTK8392 and the device is superb. The stock ROM is great and every game i throw at it runs like a champ. Call quality is great also and battery lasts a lot, i once left it in standby for 7 days and it only consumed 15% of the battery. I would definitely recommend Teclasts products if you are looking for great chinese tablets
Yes I noticed the standby is amazing too, my onda on the other hand will drain 100% overnight.
hy there, may i ask? is there any chinese tablet with stylus?
i really need one with stylus
thanks
Hello! I would like to pay already for this device but I need to know first:
1.) Is this Dual SIM card slot device?
2.) Does it have HDMI video out port?
3.) Can you sell me this device but without the logo and bootup screen?
4.) Can you put my professional logo name steeliCon in the front bezel and make it look professional?
5.) Do you accept PayPal?
My company is steeliCon dealing IT products for drivers.
Hello kindly send clear picture of the ports at the back and sides of the tablet.
Is this Dual SIM card slot?
Also MTK-8752 should be Mali-T760MP2 GPU not Mali-400?
Please send picture of screenshot in AnTuTu or benchmarks.
Thank you!
