For a new hardware makers, LeTV are already making some exciting partnerships, the most interesting so far with British luxury car maker Aston Martin.
Even if you aren’t a petrol head there is a good chance you already know Aston Martin if not then just stick a James Bond movie on and you will have a good chance of seeing one with rockets and machine guns attached.
Aston Martin a making great progress with sales in China, like many other luxury car brands, so it comes as no surprise that they are planning to work with a local technology company on new in car features.
In Shanghai today, it has been announced that LeTV and Aston Martin will cooperation together with new in car communication. It seems likely that Aston Martin will use LeTV’s in car Android OS, LeUI Auto, to keep connected to the web. It seems that the partnership will not only be a local one, but is being used as a larger global strategy by LeTV to find new users around the world.

The two companies will begin their cooperation with the study of HMI concepts for applications in to future Aston Martin vehicles and a second focussing on the delivery of media, navigation and streaming services to car connected appliances.
LeTV recently released 3 Android phones in China, which join their range of smart TV’s, their own Android based OS and online video streaming services.
