It’ll be one year tomorrow since the initial announcement of the OnePlus One, but the ‘Flagship Killer’ is clearly quite in demand still.
The phone was today announced for the Malaysian market, where it’ll also be gracing brick and mortar stores for the first time, after spending a year only on online listings. If you’re in Malaysia, you’ll be able to take home the One in 64GB either unlocked, contract free for RM1199 (US$330) or with a 2 year contract with Maxis on the MaxisONE plan for RM859 (US$236).

“If you buy a OnePlus One or OnePlus accessory at a Maxis Center in Klang Valley tomorrow, simply say the following secret password: “Never Settle.” You’ll receive a free screen protector. It’s our little way of saying thank you,” adds the cheeky OnePlus blog post talking about this new development.
The OnePlus One indeed is a nice phone with plenty customization features on offer thanks to the Cyanogen OS that it runs. After being launched with the controversial invite scheme, OnePlus announced yesterday that buyers of the One would no longer be needing invites to purchase the phone.
