Yesterday we posted rumoured specifications of the Ulefone Be Touch phone, although most of the details were accurate there are a few updates to be made now that the official specifications are in.
Rumoured specifications of the Ulefone Be Touch yesterday pointed at a device with high-end hardware and HD display. Most of those unofficial specs remain unchanged now that Ulefone have revealed partial parameters, with only the resolution of the screen being a major difference.
Ulefone’s partial official specifications claim a 5.5-inch FHD 1920 x 1080 display, 3GB RAM, MT6752 processor, LTE, fingerprint scanner, stock Android 5.0 Lollipop, and quick charging. Although not mentioned here Ulefone also confirm that the battery in the Be Touch will be just 2550mAh.
The real big question mark remains over the camera specifications. Though Ulefone have said they will use a Sony IMX214 13 mega-pixel sensor on the rear of their phone with 5 mega-pixel Omnivsion snapper on the front, fans burnt by previous Ulefone camera claims are still wary.
A release date shouldn’t be too far away now. We are excited to see how the latest Ulefone, will compare to Mlais and Elephone devices once they are all on sale.
1) Hopefully 1080p full HD. Really disappointed if only 720p on a large 5.5″ display. 2) 2550mAh battery? Flagship? More like a 2 hour per day flagship. 3) No compromise? Yes, Ulefone. You compromised.
I was so looking forward to this phone. Ironic, as i write this from a ulefone. 😉
Wish of FHD screen
The only problems with the Be Pro are the camera in low light and a relatively low autonomy (but not a big problem). The GPS is excellent. I hope this new phone will correct the camera issue. Concerning the fingerprint device, I think one must be very naive to use it. Because with that your NSA file is complete with profile, contacts, fingerprint. Crazy.
FHD now you talking José, I’m so fcking in, please be 170$ s&h included
Are all those LTE bands confirmed?
LTE confirmation is always a really tricky one. We hope so
Andi – Could you do an test review of the “Newman Button” soon ? – i have seen some very good review of this model on the net , so i think it could be an very good model from Newman and the spec looks very good
Seen on the Global Source Mobile Electronics in HK. As you can see, the screen is HD only.
Yup, I’ve seen this also. Triple checking with Ulefone again, but so far they are still telling us FHD. Will update if there is a change.
havent they learned what LIES can do ?!
I have seen other companies just list HD on the product packaging or advertising in the past when it was really 1080p.
The person who made the box dosen’t give a damn about hd/fhd,they just want to get paid,Andi is the reliable source here
As soon as confirmation of LTE bands and screen I’ll order a few, got many happy customers using the be pro.
Thanks for the update andi

Thank that’s perfect, I do have a strange liking for ulefone it looks good, any price point from. Ulefone yet.
Thanks again
I don’t see where they’re saying FHD? And no glass protection huh? okay.
Its not FHD. its just 720P. Look at the battery capacity 2550mAh. What a joke Ulephone, why do we need 3GB RAM when u consider 720P is just enough for 5.5″ Screen instead of 1080P?
I dont understand the logic behind it.
I have 720P screen Phone now & i have 1080P phone also with my Wife, i know the difference. It is really considerable when you look at the pics, videos & texts…
I am really put off by 720P Screen & 2550mAh Battery….
If the battery is only 2550mAh, a 720p screen would be ideal. I’m not sure what having 3GB of RAM has to do with the display type. Whether it is 2K, 1080, 720, or even the non HD screens more RAM is never a bad idea.
Ulefone say it is FHD and that the specs we have seen are incorrect
I’ll wait for the Ulefone Be Touch Pro with a FHD display and +3000mAh
Ulefone have just posted this reply to me on there Facebook page.
Parth Brahmbhatt, Richard Michael there going to be 2 versions. 1. Limited HD edition (only 3000 devices) for lower price. It will be on sail at the beginning of may. 2. Full version will have FullHD display and will be released in the end of May.
