Today Mlais have finally announced the full specifications for the Mlais M7, a flagship phone with 64bit SoC and integrated fingerprint scanner. Here are the full specifications.
Mlais had kept us on our toes all month with teasers of their new Mlais M7 device. Hot off the back of the Mlais M52 launch, the M7 has been a highly anticipated phone but what do you think now the final specifications are here? Keep reading and let us know.
The M7 will go up against the likes of the JiaYu S3, Ulefone Be Touch, iOcean Rock MT6752 and Elephone P7000, for the phone to pack anything less than a 64bit MT6752 chipset would have been suicide, so it is good to see the correct processor is on board and with a good 3GB RAM for ease of multi-tasking.
16GB memory comes as standard, but on its own wouldn’t be enough for many users so Mlais have included room for an SD card (up to 64GB), and there are also slots for 2 x SIM cards.
Dimensions of the M7 are 149.5 x 76.8 x 8.9mm, with a 5.5-inch display up front, touch ID style fingerprint reader on the rear and 2600mAh battery in the middle. If that battery sounds a little small then keep in mind the screen is a HD 1280 x 720 not a FHD model, also the battery support 5V-1000ma fast charging.
Cameras are a 13 mega-pixel main camera with auto-focus and dual LED “True Flash” while the front camera is an 8 mega-pixel sensor with wide 88 degree lens.
With a 64bit MT6752 SoC at the heart of the phone it is good to see that Android 5.0 will come on the phone. We also see LTE support with FDD-LTE B1/3/7/20 (800/1800/2100/2600) supported. Other network support is WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz and GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz.
Renders of the Mlais M7 show that there will be a while and black model available, but at this time we don’t know when the phone will be up for sale or how much it is going to be. The only detail we do know is that Mlais will run a competition soon asking fans to guess the price for a chance to win the new M7 phone.

So now we have the specifications for the Mlais M7 what do you think? Does it have the hardware to take on the Elephone P7000 and Ulefone Be Touch? How much do you think it will cost? Let us know in the comments below.

I would have assumed they go for a 1080p screen to compete the likes of Jiayu S3, Meizu M1… Renders look nice though and it has an extra gig RAM compared to the M52. Anything beyond 10-20$ more than M52 I feel is overpriced for just 720p. Considering the 1080p Jiayu S3 selling for 200$ and the 720p M52 for 160$ they put themselves under pressure offering a “second edition” M52. If the M1 Note wasn’t well above 200€ over here, I’d already bought one…
GPU in MT6752 in long term is not good for FullHD. It’s perfect for 720p.
Perhaps this time Mlais didn’t lied about battery but camera sensor seems the same interpolated BS like in M52. Also those renders pictures…..
The bezels around the screen will be so ugly.
