Samsung’s Galaxy S6 (the flat screen version) has been born again in the form of a low cost Android clone from China.
The company behind the knock off Samsung Galaxy S6 is Landvo, a brand who have been slowly making steps to attract a larger international audience. Launching a clone is always a good way to be seen by the media, however the effect on the brand is usually negative rather than positive.
Land are rumoured to be releasing the S6 (yes, they copied the name too) for around $100. That small chunk of change will get you a quad-core MT6582 processor, 1GB RAM, 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display, 8 mega-pixel main camera and Android 5.0 all in a body just 6.8mm thick.
LTE isn’t supported by the phone, just GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA 2100/850. It also appears the phone doesn’t come with room for a micro SD card either.
