umi emax

Teaser images of the UMi eMax have been posted on social media sites today showing an elegant brushed metal style finish.

UMi are almost on their 2nd phone of the year and the 3rd phone since they reinvented themselves. After the UMi Zero, the phone maker has released the tough and affordable UMi Hammer and are about to follow up with the UMi eMax.

The main selling point of the Emax is the large 3780mAh battery and OTG which means you can use the phone as a portable powerbank for other devices. The phone also has the largest FHD display of any current UMi phone at 5.5-inch, LTE, octacore MT6752 processor and 2GB RAM.

UMi will release the eMax in June, but are offering fans the chance to win the device ahead of launch via reseller sites. Details on how to entre the giveaway and more UMi eMax photos can be found on the UMi Facebook page.

looks great. first one of these decent china phones that works well in the US will get my money. lots of good options for china, not so many for the US market. i did order the alcatel onetouch idol 3, but I’d love to try some of these other brands…Umi, iOcean, Mlais, Elephone, Ulefone, all have some nice looking phones out there

I hope that the battery is real and camera is at least decent. Popular sony imx214 is my guess here.
