Bluboo’s recent attempts at penetrating the saturated Chinese smartphone market have made a decent impression, with their affordable price tags and multiple features. Now they plan to make these value of propositions even more enticing by lowering the prices of their successful models, the X4 and X6.
The Bluboo X4 will see to a $30 price reduction and will now cost $69.99 compared to the previous $99.99. The phone has an IPS display with a FWVGA resolution of 854 x 480. The phone has an MTK6582 processor paired with 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM (which is thankfully expandable to up to 32GB). There’s also the MTK6290 giving the MTK6582 phone LTE capabilities. The rear camera is 8MP while the front is 2MP. It has a 2100mAh battery and runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.4.
The Bluboo X6 on the other hand is clearly the better the device. It has a IPS display at a resolution of 960 x 540. The glass on top is 2.5D glass, which should help the device be more smooth to operate. The phone is powered by an 64-bit MTK6732 processor, with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM which is expandable to up to 64GB. The phone has an 8MP rear camera paired with a 5MP front facing shooter. It’s also LTE capable, has a fingerprint sensor, is powered by a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android Kitkat.
The Bluboo X6 will also get a price cut of $30, reducing the price from $149.99 to $119.99. The price cut appears to be permanent. What do you think about this price cut? Does it make you consider getting one of these devices?
