The OnePlus One is still a solid phone even a year on, but it is even better when the price is slashed as it has been in India.
On the 20th May OnePlus will be working with online reseller Overcart.com to offer an limited number of unboxed OnePlus One phones at Rs 5000 less than the recommended retail price.
An unboxed unit is basically a phone which was has already been bought then returned by the original customer after opening the packaging. During this first sale only the 64GB Sandstone Black version of the OnePlus One will be up for sale at only Rs 16,999.

I would be very wary of buying an unboxed phone. How many of these were returned due to defects and were they “refurbished”?
Most of these are (usually) review units sent out to the media… so they are different from refurbished units. Bigger companies (eg. Samsung) don’t sell ‘unboxed’ phones, they probably just get them refurbished as well. Xiaomi and OnePlus are probably the only ones that sell phones ‘unboxed’.
