The world’s second most populous country is fast turning into a battleground for smartphone makers from all around the world. Not only are homegrown companies like Micromax, Xolo flourishing in India, but competition from the neighbourhood of China seems to be doing better than you would expect.
After OPPO, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Gionee, Meizu and a lot more, ZTE’s Nubia will be the latest Chinese manufacturer to have an official sales channel in India. It’ll again be an online-only affair, at least in the beginning; Nubia will be making use of Amazon’s existing infrastructure to land its phones in users’ hands.
Nubia will be coming to India with it’s glamour bomb, the Nubia Z9 which was initially showcased to the world on May 6th. Only yesterday, Meizu hinted at its plans of announcing something for the Indian market on the 18th of this month — the Nubia Z9 is scheduled to go official just the following day, i.e., May 19th.
No word on how much the phone will be priced in India. Take a look at a video that happens to be shared by Nubia in the country:

Wrong info i think. going by the teasers posted by nubia india on facebook, It would be either z9 mini or z9 max or both. But no nubia z9.
Nubia z9 has camera shutter key. Mini and max does not. the teaser image doesnt have a camera shutter key either.
P.S – off topic. Does the Nubia z9 has micro sd card slot?
Most likely it will be all 3 models. Looking at their Facebook page they have a picture of the back of the phone, that could be any of the 3 as they all have the same red halo around the camera.
I Hope u r right. coz i seriously want the Nubia z9. Probably the fingerprint version if avail.
But i still think Z9 wont be launched. I guess we will find out which one of us is rght in a couple of days.
Balco u wer using Nubia rite?
I had it for about a month and then sold it and bought a Mi4. Spec wise it was an excellent phone, the camera was very good the display was good but the Nubia UI was horrible.
