Asus have announced that they will release two versions of the Asus Zenfone 2 in the U.S with pricing starting from just $199!
Of all the phones that have launched this year the Asus Zenfone 2 has been one of the more interesting. It marks the first time that Asus have really created a product capable of disrupting the market, and it is one of the few low-cost flagships available in various locations around the world.
After being released in Asia, and being seen in Europe during MWC, Asus are now bringing the Asus Zenfone 2 to the U.S with pricing from just $199 from tomorrow (19th May).
The basic version of the Asus Zenfone 2 will use a 1.8Ghz Intel Atom processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB memory, while a flagship model with 4GB RAM, 2.3Ghz Intel Atom CPU and 64GB internal memory will retail at just $299.
The rest of the specs are the same on both phones including LTE, dual SIM, Micro SD, 3000mAh battery, Android 5.0 and 5.5-inch 1080 display.
We recently reviewed the Asus Zenfone 2 where it received an impressive score of 8.9/10. We loved the constant updates, feature packed ROM, memory and speed of the phone, but hope to see better camera optimisation in the future. Read our full Asus Zenfone 2 review here.

The alcatel one touch idol 3 did have my attention for a moment. But the zenfone beats the idol 3 in terms of value for money imho.
Yes sure, the idol for me has better design. I had a zenfone 5 and its a nice piece of hardware but the design of the bezels are too big the phone.
