Meizu will release a new product on the 2nd of June, the question is will it be a second generation Meizu Meilan Note as last weeks rumours had suggested?
On the 2nd June over in Beijing, Meizu will once again take to the stage to announce a new smart product, but surely it can’t be an updated version of a current phone already can it? Well if rumours are to be believed the phone which will be announced at launch will be the 2nd generation Meizu Meilan Note, aka the Meizu M2 Note (?).
While it isn’t a surprise that an update for the current M1 Note is in the works, it is shocking that a replacement could be launched (according to rumours) so soon after the launch of the original especially considering the M1 Note hasn’t officially appeared on the international market yet.
From news last week the new Meilan note will feature a fingerprint scanner like the Meizu MX4 Pro, and will likely use a more powerful Mediatek chipset and might receive 3GB RAM. Last weeks rumours had said the 2nd of June would be the first launch date for a new Meizu phone and that on the 30th June a Meizu MX5 could be announced too!
In other news,”Meizu m1 note will be available exclusively at Amazon India on 2:00 PM, May 20th. amazon.in/meizu”
Maybe Meizu are following Elephone’s lead and announcing a new phone every week??lol Perhaps they’ve decided not to bother with international version of the note1 and will release a more global version in the note 2 instead.
The design of the ‘0’ on the poster is the new design home button on the Meizu Note 2 as leaked, which is shown in another post here on gizchina. Looks like its gonna be a fingerprint scanner!
