It is no secret that Meizu have a new phone up their sleeve and even less so now that 2 Meizu phones have been sighted in official Chinese documents.
On the 2nd June Meizu will launch a new Android smartphone with physical home button. It is believed that the new phone is the Meizu m2 note, or Milan note 2, and according to Meizu boss Li Nan the phone WONT have a fingerprint scanner.
Official documents leaked today reveal that there are 2 new Meizu phones. The phones known only by their internal code names of M575M and M575U, are thought to be basically the same Note 2 phone but with network support for either China Mobile’s TD networks and the more internationally used frequencies.
Gizchina News of the week
Of the two it is the M575U or a variant which we are most interested in as it supports WCDMA, FDD-LTE and GSM networks.
As for specifications the Meizu M2 note is believed to ship with an octacore MT6752 chipsets. This is a 64bit processor with Cat 9 LTE support. The phone should get at least 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel main camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop and possibly even a new metal frame.
Based on those specs is it enough to tempt current M1 note owners to make an early upgrade? How much do you think the Meizu m2 note will cost at launch?
is it right, no 800 Mhz FDD LTE ?
