Another month begins and another Chinese phone maker reveals hardware for its flagship Android smartphone. Here are details of the Zeaplus The M7.
There are a few details which strike us about the Zeaplus The M7. Firstly is the name, is it “The M7” or simply “M7”, and does this “M7” have anything to do with the Mlais M7 or Mstar M7?
Then there are the specifications. The M7 comes with a specification which is similar to the many other Chinese flagship phones of the day and includes the popular MT6752 64bit chip, 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner and 5.5-inch FHD display. Similar to it’s competitors it also comes with a fingerprint scanner, 13 mega-pixel Sony sensor and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Over on the Zeaplus forums the company have also confirmed that the phone will support SD cards, dual SIM and LTE bands 1/3/7/20. Oh and the 13 mega-pixel sensor is an IMX135 not an IMX214.
Pricing hasn’t been revealed but a launch of around mid June has been scheduled.
is it re-brand from elephone p7000?
No, it has no home button
Forum site admin says it’s similar to Elephone P7000.
”Be available at middle of June”
Zeaplus got some mad English skillz
One of my favorite things about living in Asia is seeing some of the funky English translations they use. I was in a big box Walmart type store once and at the top of every register it read “Cashire”.
they just announce and never deliver…. this company is a scam…
They have 3 products in store now, watch g2 and dm360, and a smart tracker, hope this phone is real
just wait for official launching, maybe $159 like elephone p7000
$149
199, 149 is flash sale only
i hope MOAR cheap phones start using imx 214 aSAP!
better be cheap. too much competition with same specs and better brand name.
Have they even released one of their phones yet? I know the Z4 there was an OEM problem as the Elephone P4000 and a few other Mi4 clones were all cancelled.
Not this company again…
I remember they announced 2 or 3 other phones before, which were never produced. To make matter worse they even had people pre-order their Mi4 clone for 99$, which of course they didn’t deliver. And their forum was full posts and threads of customers complaining, because they had already payed and were still waiting 3 months later.
Just checked their forum, every post with even a little hint of negativity was deleted,
there is no more proof of their earlier failures.
