Chinese phone makers have battled over processor cores, screen size, camera specs and resolution. Today it is the battle of the battery! Here are 7 Chinese Android phones with big battery specs.
The following phones have a battery size of over 3500mAh, and have been advertised as being a device with longer than endurance than average. Are the specs all talk and no trousers or do you think we you could get more than 2 days of battery life from:
UMi eMax
Compared to some phones on the list the UMi eMax has quite a dainty battery size of just 3780mAh, but UMi believe this is enough for the phone to give at least 2 days of battery life on a single charge.
It’s not just the battery size of the UMi eMax which is a selling point either though. The phone is a pretty well rounded handset with attractive design, powerful MT6752 chipset, 5.5-inch FHD display and 13 mega-pixel camera. Pricing is very competitive too at just $159.99.

Elephone P8000
The Elephone P8000 has been seen quite a bit this week and why not? The specifications look quite good with a MT6753 chipset, 3GB RAM, and Samsung 13 mega-pixel main camera.
A 7.2mm metal chassis sounds as though it will be comfy in the hand, surprising too as the claimed battery size of the Elephone P8000 is a 4165mAh battery. Elephone say this is enough for 269 hours of stand by, 21 hours of call time, 30 hours of music and 16 hours of gaming. The Elephone P8000 is due to launch at the end of July for around $209.99.

Gionee M5
The full details of the Gionee M5 are still underwraps as the phone won’t be officially released until the 10th June, still we do know it’s battery size and it is simply massive. The Gionee M5 will actually incorporate dual batteries in the phone for a combined 6000mAh!
Other specs of the phone (to be confirmed) are a 5.5-inch AMOLED display, 1.3Ghz processor, 2GB RAM, 8 megapixel main camera and 5 mega-pixel front. The phone is also said to measure in at only 8.6mm!
Bluboo X550
At $169.99 the Bluboo X55 is slightly more expensive than the UMi eMax, but the extra money goes in to providing an even larger battery. The phone is on presale now, and those of you who manage to get your hands on the phone will enjoy a 5300mAh battery, 5.5-inch OGS display, fast charging, Android 5.1 and 2GB RAM.

Innos D6000
Innos have also gone down the 6000mAh battery route with the Innos D6000, but rather than 2 cells the D6000 uses a single large battery. The Chinese phone maker has also given their device a Snapdragon 600 processor, 5.2-inch 1080 display, 2GB RAM and even a 16 mega-pixel main camera!
Siswoo C55
Siswoo are on a roll and the Siswoo C55 appears to be the phone that could really put them on the map. Amazingly the stylish Siswoo C55 has a huge 4200mAh battery, a fact that is even more amazing when you realise the phone costs just 119 Euros! The handset will also have a 5.5-inch HD display, 8 mega-pixel rear camera, MT6735 chipset and 2GB RAM. Not a bad set-up for the money.

Mlais MX Base
Originally known as the Mlais MX, the phone is now called the MX Base and will ship with the same hardware originally promised. Those hardware specifications include an MT6735 chipset, the same as found in the Meizu m2 note, 5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM and 13 mega-pixel rear camera. On the battery the Mlais MX Base boasts a 4800mAh battery behind a green, white or black rear cover.

Those are just a few Android phones with large batteries for the middle of the year, but as the trend continues expect more large battery handsets to launch and the average battery size in our phones to increase!
All good in theory, but time will tell if the batteries in these phones have the adertised capacity.
From a few reviews, the X550 gets around 16 hours in Geekbench 3 battery test http://browser.primatelabs.com/battery3/63878 and nearly 10 hours of Screen on time.
Bluboo battery has been measured over on XDA and it’s 4973mah not 5350mah. Many complaints by users on XDA including no quick charge, poor gps, overheating, no 5mhz wifi, SD card not working properly. I bought the THL 5000T just because it’s a THL, well built no nonsense phone that does what it says on the tin. I’m not saying it’s the best but advising folks to buy from more established and reputable manufacturers.
LOOOOOL I OWN the bluboo x550 get out of here if you wanna diss my phone!!
Wifi is great!, quick charge is here!! People still don’t get that the 5v 2a charger is a first generation quick charger!! Sd card not working?? because 3 fucking people reported the problem?? What about the 2000+ with no issue including me!! overheating yeah right!! Poor gps YEAH right!!
again another dude who talk about something he doesn’t have in his hand!!
the exit is this way =>
I’m not dissing your phone bro. Do a search on XDA and read what some users are saying there. I don’t own one and it’s possible they got a bad batch since forums by their very nature will have people trying to solve problems. I have a Zenfone 2 and a THL 5000T and don’t have any problems with either so far but I check their forums all the time to learn more about my phones.
I know all the fucking xda threads you’re talking about and you”re not going to teach me how MY OWN phone works PERIOD!
One of us has the phone right here in his hand, the other one is reading threads on the internet NUFF SAID
You’re an idiot. READ what I said and don’t take it personally you moron.
nope the moron here is the one who thinks he knows something better than someone who owns it!!! gtfo
Clearly I’m dealing with a window licking retard here. This is how it works: Owner 1 says “I’m having trouble with the xyz on by new whizzbang phone.” Owner 2 replies “I don’t have that issue. Have you tried this or that solution? Maybe you’ve got a bad one and need to return it?” It’s instructive to note that you’re attacking the messenger and not addressing what other owners are saying.
I can only conclude English is your second language because I stated that they must have had a bad batch. Meanwhile, please enjoy your phone as intended by the manufacturer but please remember not to drool on the screen too much as I’m certain the Bluboo isn’t IP68 certified.
Don’t try to justify your stupidity! It’s beyond any help!!
the “window licking retard” tells you shut up if you don’t own the phone and you have NOTHING to answer!! it stops here
Yeti hand, you sir are an idiot.
also why are you acting butthurt now? How about you read your first comment where you were teaching me how bluboo deceived us all, lied all over the place blablabla
Now you wanna act like you never did it?? I’m not taking it personally I’m telling you to keep your BS to yourself if you don’t own the phone!!
Ever heard of faulty products?? Happy people like me don’t post on a forum to complain about something!! It’s good to read what wrong it’s better to also ask the opinions of happy campers

the only one I had the possibility to test is the eMAX, and I can confirm the battery can reach an amazing screen time of 7-8 hours!
overall I’d say pretty good and a surprise for the price, the battery unit is manifactured by TCL, the GPS is the best I’ve ever tried in any mediatek until now (maneged to obtain a fix inside the house!), very nice FHD screen, pretty solid performances. No major downsides for me, only back camera and rear speaker are average compared to the rest of the hardware, but they are decent and ok for the price range in my opinion. Frontal camera is a pleasant surprise as well, a good point for “selfie maniacs”.
Unless you search for a “camera phone”, I’d reccomend it, absolutely!
You know that how well it fixes isn’t actually the best way to test the GPS, right?
half a day with sygic should be more than enough to understand if it works or not 😉

Any major downside?
Do you recommend it?
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3g gets about 10hr screen on time…
hence, 3g. Xiaomi redmi note 3g is not full hd. emax is lte and has full hd therefore requires more juice.
looking forward for innos d6000 , actually it has double battery not like in the article wich says it uses single large one , you hot swap battrs
Yeah true. Also the Innos has 3GB RAM and 32 GB Rom and the Soc is Snapdragon 615 not the 600!These article is a little messed up.
But build quality and software updates and…everything about its previous phone were really great..decent camera….they nearly updated their phone for more than 6 months and more than 10-15 updates…anyway..I really recommend the built..even after their teardown, the assembly done on motherboard (Board) was neat and just like HTC’s..
anyway,my only complaint is their SOC, which they must have gone to sth better,snapdragon800/801 or MTK6795 or MTK6752..sth like these was much suitable for a product of 2015 rather than SD615 which has proven to not be worthy of using comparing to competitor’s .

the bluboo has already been tested and the capacity is real

Why go to 2015 built devices?
still decent Proccessors or hardwares with size below than 5inch:
iuni u2
Jiayu s2/g4s
as for this year phone:
ZTe nubia z9 mini (4.99″ )
and if comes in future:
SISWOO I8
Because I have my lovely iuni u2 (4,7 inch) , so I want something new (better) of the same size … but it seems impossible 🙂
Can someone tell me some 2015 smartphones under 5 inch ????????
when will the mx be released?
