Just a few days ago Meizu launched the m2 note, then yesterday the web was a blaze with rumoured Meizu MX5 hands on photos. Now there is even a Meizu MX5 hands on video to look at.
Unless this is a very cleverly crafted video, we feel that we are actually looking at the genuine Meizu MX5 here. The breif video clearly shows us a phone that looks a lot like the MX5 which we found in leaked photos yesterday, and even share some details about the phone such as the dimension of 146 x 74.6 x 7.9mm and a low weight of only 147g.
The phone in the video is clearly a working prototype running Flyme and we get a very good up close and personal look with the device.
Other details mentioned in the Meizu MX5 video are a Mediatek MT6793 chipset, Android 5.0, 3GB RAM, Micro SD card, 3150mAh battery along with a new fingerprint button in the front below the screen. The MX5 could launch as early as the 30th June.
Let us know your thoughts on the Meizu MX5 in the comments below.
well with mediatek logic the one with a higher summer can also be the underclocked one xD (mtk 6752 + 6753)
Nobody knows what it is exactly. It’s an octacore chip clocked to 2.3GHz. Probably slightly overclocked variant of MT6795.
what is the price we can expect?
Same design, with even subtle changes – Fail
MT6793 – Fail
No extraordinary feature – Fail
Therefore………drumroll………….
MX5 Overall – Fail.
Now fanboys can start the cussing, name-calling etc.
I’ll wait till we see whats coming from oneplus this year.
