Blu’s Life One (2015), Life 8 XL go official in the US

Blu is best known to GizChina patrons as a vendor that rebrands a lot of Gionee phones. Today, the US-based company announced a couple new phones.

First, the Blu Life One (2015). As you can tell, the phone is a refresh to the older Life One smartphone. It comes with a 5-inch 1280 x 720p display, and is powered by the Snapdragon 410 processor along with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. Besides that, it has a 13 mega-pixel main camera and a 5 mega-pixel front camera, all of which is powered by a 2420mAh battery. The phone is dual SIM, 4G LTE enabled and starts US$99 in the US.

The Life 8 XL on the other hand comes with a 5.5-inch display and octa-core MediaTek MT6592M CPU with the same 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM as the Life One (2015). Besides, there’s an 8 mega-pixel rear camera and a 2 mega-pixel front, powered by a larger capacity (compared to the Life One 2015) 2920mAh battery. This one will set you back by US$129.

Not the best specs but they look very good and for only $100?? Might have to pick one up to give it a test. According to Amazon it is not available until the 19th. The camera is IMX 135, it is dual sim, Micro SD and the rear is a sandstone material.
