The excitement is mounting in the OnePlus camp as the first teasers of the OnePlus 2 are published.
The OnePlus One was a roaring success thanks to the combination of Cyanogen, low-cost, good hardware and some viral marketing, but now it’s time to put the original to bed and get on with the successor! The OnePlus 2.
Teasers of the 2nd generation OP2 have been posted showing the outline of the new phone, which seems to share a similar shilouette to the current 2014 flagship killer. We still have a long way to go before the final specifications are release, but sources in China claim the phone will retain 3GB RAM and 1080p display but gain a Snapdragon 810 processor.

A fingerprint scanner has also been rumoured with “better than Touch ID” features. The final detail is that there is likely to be 2 new OnePlus phones. A flagship to replace the OPO and a mid-range phone with lower specs and more affordable price tag.
What are your hopes for the OnePlus 2? Do you think the lack of Cyanogen might hinder their performance 2nd time around?
for me the oneplus2 should have a either a 6 inch screen with same dimensions
or smaller of 5.5 inch screen but smaller. onscreen buttons will be
best. 1080 for the screen is enough. it should have dual boot
android/windows 4gb ram and the either 64gb or 128gb ROM. battery should
be at least 4000mAH with fast charging( and wireless charging)and
removable . also it should have the latest mediatek processor. 16-23mp
camera back and at least 8mp front. metal body. and maybe something
similar curved screen as on the note edge( not s6 edge). price should be
around 300 euro or less
_less bezels will be for sure. we’re more then 1 year later
_if they have 64 gb then dual boot shouldn’t be a problem( windows is free, see tablets)
_a 4000mah battery isn’t that unsual anymore. remember i have 3200mah in my 1+1
_The 13mp sony camera is sold out and if they want to improve 16-23mp is same as 13mp last year
_ mediatek proccessor should lower the cost.
_ just see what letv did with they’re phone and they aren’t as cheap as oneplus
dual boot? they can’t even ship ONE operating system! you want them to support two?
wait… aren’t they doing that… Oxygen and Hydrogen? WTF? perhaps they should just try to keep one up to date!
“just see what letv did with they’re phone and they aren’t as cheap as oneplus”
What are you exactly comparing here?
“they want to improve 16-23 mp is the same as 13 mp last year”. This doesn’t even make sense. What is the same about them? Where is the improvement? Does the bigger name equate to better pictures? I know a certain phone from a fruity company that has an 8mp sensor and takes some of the best pictures of any phone available.
The way these companies need to improve their phones is to forget the MP race and instead focus on using better lenses and optimizing the software. Apple figured this out ages ago which is why their lowly 8mp sensors are often the comparison point for every new sensor released.
You are tight man. Very insightful.
You are right man. Very insightful.
I have tested that fruity company products but they have optimized everything from Camera to resolution and they seem to be nailing it every-time all the time with less numbers the IP6+ says it all.
Yea I am not a fan of their ecosystem (much too closed for me) but I will give them credit where credit is due, they make amazing products. I own a Macbook Pro which is one of the best built laptops I have ever used, but I use Ubuntu on it lol.
I have a Macbook Pro which will be 5 years old by Q4 2015 and I want to convert it into an Ubuntubook Pro. Is it easy to do ?
Take a look at the below link and should answer any questions you have. I have a 2013 Macbook Pro and virtually everything worked right out of the box, the only thing I had to find was the wifi drivers, but the community was able to point me in the right direction for those.
