UMi confirm that their UMi Iron phone will have a full metal body made to “Swiss Watch” standards in latest teaser.
Earlier teasers from UMi confirmed that they next generation flagship phone would come with Android 5.1, a Mediatek octacore chipset and 3GB RAM. A new image released today tell us that the body of the phone will be made of metal and measure just 7.9mm.
Looking at the teaser in more details we can see that the profile of the UMi Iron appears similar to the alloy body of the iPhone 5s or iOcean X9. The bottom left teaser seems to indicate that the Iron will also have a LED notification light too.
UMi will announce the final details of the UMi Iron on the 23rd June over on their Facebook page.

Good to see a lot of these companies improving design and having a definite direction. Same cannot be said for Zopo.
Yep, Zopo have lost it over the last 12 months and I can’t see them being around this time next year unless they sort their products out and more importantly their ridiculous pricing.
yeah… they seem dead on everything concerning advances in mobile tech

wow… are u George from the Real Madrid Fan Club on FB?
i’d rather see Benzema in the line-up … cos yur formation is a bit defensive 4-2-3-1. i think Danilo will chip in after Arbeloa leaves and Dani Carvajal is rotated a bit
Sell penaldo. Messi too god for him. XD
this or letv for me i guess 🙂
this is shaping up to be GREAT !
There`s quite the battle for devices between 179-249$, seams to be the sweet spot for sales.
Hope they won’t forget about support for eMax.
Will this work on UK 4G? And when is the likely release date?
