Wickedleak is an India based vendor of smartphones with an ever-expanding portfolio. Earlier today, the company took wraps off of the Wickedleak Note 4 smartphone, a device that might ring a bell in a lot of our readers’ minds.
The Wickedleak Wammy Note 4 has a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p display and is powered by the very impressive MediaTek MT6752 octa-core 64-bit processor with 3GB of RAM. Out of the box the Wammy Note 4 has 16GB of ROM, with the option to expand storage by another 64GB via microSD.
Other specifications of this new phone include a 13 mega-pixel main camera on the rear with dual LED flash, 5 mega-pixel front camera and a 3250mAh battery. As you would expect from a phone of this day, the 13 mega-pixel sensor is indeed advertised as the Sony IMX214.
The Wammy Note 4 will come with Android v4.4 KitKat out of the box, and is upgradable to 5.0 Lollipop according to the company. GizChina readers will be reminded of the JiaYu S3 which features a near-identical design and specifications set.
The Wammy Note 4 is priced 14,990 INR (US$234), with an AquaProtect upgrade available for another 1,500 INR (US$23). The phone can be pre-ordered starting today, but there’s no word on when it’ll start shipping.
What a messed up name of the company….
