If these new rumours are turn then the Meizu MX5 could very well be worth the upgrade over the Meizu MX4 it will replace.
The Meizu MX4 turned over a new leaf for Meizu. It was the first all alloy chassis phone from the company, and the first real flagship to come with a Mediatek processor. While we liked the phone there were a few details we would have liked such as space for an SD card and also a full metal chassis as that plastic rear cover really kills the feel of the phone.
Latest Meizu MX5 details actually mentioned both the full metal body along with space for 128GB SD cards, that feature alone would be worth the upgrade in some users mind.

In addition the Meizu MX5 is suspected to get a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3150mAh battery, updates Turbo version of the 2.3Ghz Mediatek MT6795T octacore chipset, 20 mega-pixel main camera and even a fingerprint scanner.
The use of a fingerprint scanner, we assume in the home button, would mean the MX5 will be longer than the current MX4.
Pricing is believed to have remained the same with Chinese fans of the phone expecting to get the new Meizu flagship for just 1799 Yuan. International fans can expect the usual high Meizu costs.
Is it not the same GPU as the one in the MT6795 (PowerVR 6200)? It’s not really bad per say.
But the GPU aint really bad. Yes, its not as powerful as the Adreno 430 but its still good and can handle any game thrown at it.
