We’re currently testing the Chuwi Vi10, and at the cost of spoiling the review, we’d like to let you know that we’re pretty darn impressed with what it can do.
The Vi7 comes from the same stable as the Vi10, the only difference being that the Vi7 is an Android-only tablet, besides the obvious hardware differences. True to its name, the Vi7 is a 7-inch device. It has a resolution of 1024 x 600, which makes it pretty clear that the Vi7 isn’t going to be your portable multimedia device, but rather a large screen slate to install your productivity apps on.
Other specs of this new tablet include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of ROM and a 1.2GHz quad-core Intel SoFIA Atom X3 C3230 processor. Additionally, the tablet also does 3G (which if you ask me, will be its claim to fame if it ever gets popular) which means you can access data on the go.
The device is still undergoing its production, so it is on pre-sale until the 10th of July… if you’re interested in getting yourself one, head over to GearBest and use coupon code ‘VI7’ to bring the price down to US$59. If I’m not wrong, the Vi7 happens to be the most affordable Intel Atom X3 tablet… second perhaps to the Teclast X70.
Well this is much better buy because unlike the Teclast this has 1GB of RAM which is kind of needed these days.
