It’s the age of sub-brands. Yu (Micromax), Iuni (Gionee), Honor (Huawei) and arguably a few other ones. A pattern that you will have noticed is that it is Asian companies that tend to do this more often than their Western counterparts.
Lenovo’s Zuk is the latest in this list, and the company just talked about the Z1 a while back. The Cyanogen OS powered phone is sure to cause some ripples, and may even give users something to settle upon. While it’s the future that will tell us about all that, what we have for now are some pictures from taken on the Zuk Z1.
Nothing out of the ordinary, but the phone seems to have a decent camera. No specifications have been revealed yet; Lenovo only mentioned it’ll have a fingerprint sensor and ‘large’ battery. The resolution of these sample shots though, gives away the fact that it’ll be a 13 mega-pixel unless these are downsized images.
Nonetheless, a senior Lenovo exec shared some photos from the phone on his Weibo today, take a look, and let us know what you think!
