Huawei Honor 7 too will have fast charging, and will launch same day as Meizu MX5

Its only been a while since we reported about the mCharge technology that would come with Meizu’s MX5, a phone that’s scheduled to launch 30th June. It turns out that the MX5 won’t be the only phone with fast charge to launch on the 30th; Huawei, for one, will be joining the fast charge party with the Honor 7 the same day.

Huawei has taken to the OnePlus approach of putting out teasers every now and then to build interest and hype for the Honor 7. The Honor 6 was a very popular phone with decent specifications and a lucrative price tag; according to the teasers, it looks like the Honor 7 will be more premium than budget.

Besides fast charge, the Honor 7 will have a fingerprint sensor, and an additional hardware key for special functions, not a lot about which is known so far. Very much like the MX5, the Honor 7 will too have a full-metal body… so 30th June is going to be quite a day to look forward to.

The Honor 7 will come shielded by Sapphire Glass, which will almost certainly sit on the camera’s lens, and perhaps also on the fingerprint sensor and other places.

Vivo, Gionee, Meizu… there are enough premium brands in China, why would someone choose Huawei for that price range ?
I am sure that people who are buying phone for that price just wan’t to look cool, and Huawei doesn’t create that atmosphere at all. It is known as crappy plastic phones manufacturer.

I had the ascend mate 2, which looked good but it was bloated and buggy as anything. I’m looking forward to the next gionee phone rather than this.

  Huawei has very good build quality and great specs but where they are often let down is their software. It is one of the worst OS’s available in China. Every year I hear how much it has improved but it is still horrible and buggy. Gionee isn’t too much better tho, and they are one of my favorite brands but Amigo is horrible. If you buy either brand you need to root it and load a custom ROM to get the best experience.

    Not sure why you don’t like Amigo , finally persuaded someone to get the
    E7 and even though it won’t update to 4.4 (says 4.2 is the latest version). I’ve found it to be very smooth and stable with no lags, it seems to be quite feature rich too which has surprised me. On the other hand I’ve not found a single positive comment on Huawei ‘s ROM anywhere on the web!

      I hate Amigo but I love Gionee, mainly because they have very good build quality, good customer service and good specs. I hate Amigo because every version I have ever used has been a bug filled train wreck and takes simple things and makes them difficult.

This wil be a classy one from Huawei , I think .
It will give a hint how Their nexus will be.
I hope they keep it slim and use top notch camera .
