Doogee’s F2015 smartphone is set to come later this year (September most likely) with some impressive specs, yet a price tag that won’t be too heavy on your pocket.
The Doogee F2015 just had its specifications revealed, and as you shall read further, they clearly point at another ‘mid-range flagship’, a segment we all have come to love in the recent months.
The F2015 will come with the new MediaTek MT6753 octa-core chipset with 3GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch full HD display, to make another phablet worth considering. It’ll also have 2.5D curved glass on top of the display for the added effect, and bezels will reportedly by just 1mm thick (its tough buying that claim).
Gizchina News of the week
Last but not least, the phone will also have a 3000mAh battery (which by the looks of it seems non-removable). As of now, it is phones from Elephone, Ulefone and some other companies that are vying for space in the mid-range flagship segment, and a competitor from Doogee will only make the race fierce.
Pff.. 5.5″ a phablet? .. That’s so 2013 (“-_-).
Well they’re all 5.5 ones these days, not bigger, not smaller …. 5.5 all day every day 😀
There was a TCL 3S announcement not long ago which looks nice. Havent seen any english reviews on it yet though.
So do I.
Ideally I’d love a smart phone with a 4,7″ ( or a bezel-less 5″) FHD screen, 3 (or 4) Gb RAM, a Helion X10 soc, slim built (about or under 70 x 140 x 8 mm in size), dual sim, SD-card expandable storage (up t 128 Gb), global FDD-4G support, a 3000mAh battery and a (near-)stock Android 5.1 ROM with root access pre-installed.
Dear Santa,
Am I asking to much?
I’ve been a good boy.
Your’s truly.
i’m dreaming about the same, cept a little bigger in 5″ or 5.2″ with on-screen buttons 🙂
140 x 70 is a quite hefty phone. A near bezeless Sharp crystal X is 132×67 @ 5 inches, by comparison Jiayu G4 (4.7 inches) is 133×65
At ~ 140×70 you get 5.2 inchers (e.g. LG G2)
BTW the specs you described are almost exactly the rumoured ones for Jiayu S4. I doubt that they would come true (one can hope), but really the only difference (from the ones you used) is that it is quite less wide and shorter (130 x 64 X 8). Everything else is as you said even the processor is almost the same (1.7ghz instead of 2ghz) …
The only 5″ devices worth buying are underpowered Snapdragon crap.
(Nubia Z9 Mini, Xiaomi Mi4i)
Getting kind of bored of all this 5.5″ flagships.
LG is releasing new nexus device later this year with max 5.2 inch display , I will wait for that, nexus 5 was one of the best smartphones of 2013 , LG is known to make great screen to body ratio, the new nexus will have better battery and will be priced under 400$ , 🙂
It was a good phone, but I don’t understand how Google stood there and allowed LG to kick its ass soo bad with the G2? Better battery…..
