Elephone say CM12.1 for older models is a possibility

If you are the owner of an older Elephone phone with a MT6582 or MT6592 SoC you could be lucky enough to see Cyanogenmod for your device in the future.

Elephone today shared with us details of CM12.1 for the Elephone P10c. No, the P10c isn’t another new Elephone device, it is actually one one of the companies 2014 models rocking a quad-core MT6582 chipset and no LTE.

The ROM (available here) was made by an Elephone user and fan, and brings hope to owners of other 2014 Elephone models that a CyanogenMod build could be winging its way to their phones in the future too.

Currently the Elephone P10c, P6000, P7000 and P8000 all have a CM12.1 ROM available for them. Which other Elephone phones would you like to see custom ROM support for?

I’d like to see MIUI v.6 become available for my P3000S. It was advertised as optional ROM when I bought it, but up until now the development never came out of (buggy) beta and it’s fully relying on community development and support.
