While Oukitel grab headlines with the upcoming Oukitel U9 and Oukitel 10,000mAh battery phone, it is their Oukitel U8 which is holding the torch for the brand and doing so at a new low-cost.
The Oukitel U8 is the the current top of the range phone from Oukitel boasting high-class build quality and decent hardware, and will be available on the 30th June for just $129.99 with free worldwide shipping through Aliexpress.
Details which have the U8 stand out from the crowd include a single-touch fingerprint sensor similar to the unit found on the Huawei Mate 7. What this means is that one single touch will watch and unlock the U8 right away. Other models, such as the P7000 and Be Touch require the press of a button to wake the phone before unlocking. Its a small addition but a useful one. File and photos also have the option to be sealed with your fingerprint, while Android 5.1 means that even a factory reset won’t allow thieves to access your files and data.

Build is pretty astonishing for the price too, with the phone boasting a frameless look, CNC alloy chassis and 2.5D glass display.
Hardware specifications include a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 chipset, 2GB RAM, 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 display, 13 mega-pixel main camera with dual LED flash and 5 mega-pixel front camera.

Top spec is bit of an overstatement! Yes the build quality is excellent, as is the screen.
BUT the mt6735 is clocked at 1ghz and is apparently running in 32bit mode. There is also no glonass support which makes the gps performance less than good.
Overall, $130 is a reasonable price.
I would not have posted this if Oukitel had responded to my messages, but I have to say that I am happy with the phone despite the shortcomings.
Gimme the U9 specs… tired of daily charging
Not really, the battery life is great from some video reviews, check steven’s or styler’s on youtube.
Did you ever heared Sy7ler complain about any phone? He’s job is to keep his sponsors happy and he’s doing that very good. Same goes for mayiandjay. Only Steve from ITXTUTOR dares to be critical.
Well Patrick, all my full review videos actually have Pros & Cons in the end of the video, if there are Cons they are mentioned there. On my full review of the Oukitel U8, I actually complain about the very bad built-in speaker, and it is also mentioned in the cons in the end of the video, because the speaker is a joke but the battery is not.
