Huge competition in the Chinese phone market means some really great pricing for Chinese tech fans. Today another large battery phone has seen a price cut from $139.99 to just $99.99.
The Mlais MX Base smartphone is the big battery beast of the Mlais range. At 4300mAh, the batter in the MX Base isn’t the largest we have seen in a smartphone this year, but it is certainly bigger than anything we have seen in a phone costing just $99.99!
Mlais originally built the MX Base to cost $140, so specs are pretty generous now that the cost has been dropped by $40. Those specifications include a 64bit Mediatek MT6735 chipset, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE dual SIM, micro SD card, Android 5.1 and 8 mega-pixel main camera. The MX Base supports FDD-LTE 800/1800/2100/2600MHz and 3G WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz, for those of you thinking to pick the device up.
With a 4300mAh battery you should be looking at least 2 days of battery life from the 5-inch 720p smartphone, plus with USB OTG you can also use the battery to charge other devices. There is even an IR blaster on the phone to add further functionality.
More details can be found over on the Mlais website.

Hello, andi all the sites from your mlais link in the article are selling this phone for $140. Can you explain why that is ?
Its 20 units per day per site. Each site has a different time that those 20 units for the day begin to sell. These are listed on each sites promotional page, which is linked from the mlais website.
I would buy it if it had at least 4301 mAh, 4300 is way too little.
I hope this is sarcasm…
To Jutifyer the difference between 4800 and 4300 can be great or it can be minimal, there are so many factors at play. I know of phones with 5000 that get the same or worse battery life than phones with 4000. It all depends on the components used and the software and the personal habits of the user. With a low power CPU and a 720p display this thing will last quite some time.
Sure it’s not a sarcasm, 1 mAh is a massive difference. 3 seconds additional battery time is a wow.
The specs say 4800. He made a typo or is mistaken. Thats what i wanted to say.
Another Iron Man? Haha
