Android 5.0 Lollipop now available for the Siswoo i7 Cooper

Back at the start of the year a new Chinese phone maker arrived on the scene with a few new phones. Siswoo have managed to make all the right noises so far and are now rolling out Lollipop updates for some devices.

Siswoo have focussed on creating customer service centres in Europe and building quality handsets. For a media or promotion point of view it isn’t very exciting, but for customers its everything you want when choosing a smartphone.

Gizchina News of the week

If you do happen to be an owner of one of the companies earlier devices, the Siswoo i7 Cooper, then you will won’t to head over to the Siswoo download center and pick up a copy of Android 5.0 Lollipop for the phone. To get Lollipop on the i7 Cooper you will have to manually flash from Android 4.4 Kitkat to 5.0 using the tools available on the Siswoo site.

The i7 Cooper is actually a very powerful 5-incher with MT6752 chipset and 3GB RAM. You can read more about the phone in our Siswoo i7 Cooper review here.

Swisoo i7 is like as ELEPHONE P8000 (and has Android 5.0), but price of Elehpone is attractive

The phone has 2 gb of ram and not 3 gb like it’s said in your article. still absolutely enough for heavy multitasking.
btw the most i7 users who flashed the 5.0 Lollipop, flashed back to 4.4.4 kitkat because their lollipop version has problems with the signals. kitkat is very stable on the i7 cooper and still has enough power to play all games on it. hopefully they fix the few issues on 5.0 and update to 5.0.2 or even 5.1, then it’s really the best smartphone atm out there imo.
    peace.

Hi, do you recommend the Siswoo Cooper I7? What about its wifi? Camera? Thanks.

the Wifi is good, the Camera is about average. I just bought the Meizu m2 Note for the same price the i7 Cooper costs. Really worth it, can only recommend the m2 note. It’s 0.5″ bigger than i7 which I thought would be a bit too big for me, but I got used to it very fast.

wow what a truly low price. are you sure the shipping costs are included? I suggest to inform about warranty of this seller and if it fits for you, yea why not. It’s a great phone. Outstanding performance on flagship level for this price. Try yourself 😉
