Bags of salt at the ready? Good! It’s time to take a pinch now as another purported leaked image of the OnePlus 2 hits the news.
Yesterday’s news revealed a few possible clues to the design and build of the OnePlus 2, with a purported design sketch showing a dual camera design and the big boss, Pete Lau, himself hinting at a full metal build for the upcoming phone.
So what do we have today? Well this is either a fan render based on what Lau said or it is a genuine render of the upcoming OP2 phone complete with all metal shell. Either way the design lacks the dual camera set up that was rumoured yesterday and looks like a bit of a mash of iPhone and LeTV.
Another interesting point is that the render doesn’t show a rear fingerprint scanner. OnePlus haven’t said that the fingerprint scanner will be on the rear of the phone, but with fans last year complaining on the size of the OPO we find it hard to imagine that the OP2 would have a front facing fingerprint scanner in a home button. But then again this could also mean that a fingerprint scanner below the screen is what we will see in the Op2.
Anyway we are not sure what to make of this metal render, and we will leave it up to you guys to decide if this is real of fake.
