This week on GizChina: Honor 7, MX5, and more

It’s been quite a week for Chinese smartphone manufacturers as well as tech enthusiasts with a lot of big launches, among other news. In this feature we’ll be bringing to you the most important bits from the week — all in one place!

This week on GizChina – 07/03/2015

1. Huawei Honor 7 launch

Huawei finally took wraps off of their Honor 7 smartphone earlier this week. The Honor 7 has a 5.2-inch screen, a 20 mega-pixel camera, and a Kirin 935 chipset.

2. Meizu MX5 launch

Meizu’s MX5 may sound a little underpowered for a flagship, but there’s certainly an MX5 Pro coming and the pricing isn’t too bad either.

3. 4300mAh battery powered Mlais  MX Base will cost just $99 for a month

Looking for a large-battery phone that doesn’t cost a bomb? Mlais may have an answer in the form of the Mlais MX Base which is a 4300mAh battery phone. Also, it’s only US$99 for the first month!

4. Ulefone Be Touch 2 vs Elephone P8000

Elephone can’t stay out of the news, can they? The Ulefone Be Touch recently got an upgrade to become the Be Touch 2, which got pitted against the Elephone P8000.

5. Oukitel K10000 leaked images

Oukitel isn’t the oldest manufacturer around, but they’re up to some cool stuff. The U8 is already an impressive phone, but the company is also readying a device with a massive 10,000mAg battery!
