Today July 5, Asus just unveiled at a Chinese exhibition in Nanjing a new handset under the Pegasus series, a direct successor of the Asus Pegasus X002 announced back in 2014.
Asus already have the Zenfone 2 for crazy specs, so decided to bet on build quality for the new Pegasus 2. Like similar premium devices from rivals, Oppo and Vivo, the latest Asus runs a Snapdragon 615 chipset, 5.5-inch 1080 display and 3GB RAM.
Gizchina News of the week
Other specs present in the Pegasus 2 Plus are a 13MP rear shooter and 8MP front snapper for selfie enthusiasts. A 3030mAh battery, a nice touch, should ensure good endurance for the device which runs Lollipop 5.1.1 with Zen UI running atop.
For now we can’t have sure about the pricing and of when the phone offered in Rose Gold and White will hit the market. What you think of the new Asus kid? Leave your opinion of it.
Because the chance of being the FIRST can never be missed! 😀
Okay, let’s say this phone will be chaep. And will you buy it? Probably NO, you will continue whining on Gizchina and you will never buy chinese phone because you have high tax in Pakistan (as you already mentioned). Buy some chinese phone already and stop commenting “please be cheap”.
Now Yasir, dont take this in a wrong way. It sounded funny the way he said it. Thats why I laughed.
actually , ASUS things do sell “SEMI-officially” in Pakistan (everything , from laptops to keyboards and mice and so on… and ofcourse their so called smartphones as well) …
so , while you may be right for most of the other times , i actually have a v.good point this time for commenting !
but then again … my search for perfection is not over yet. You’ll see me here for some time to come , so why not just embrace the notion ? 🙂
Yasir come on man, about time you bought something…. As we say here… Chikh de yaar 😉
yea man … im in the process of putting together some serious quid , around $180-$250 , but y’know , how things are in Pakistan for uni students trying to collect money (no ACTUAL part-time jobs , university schedules) and add to that the bribe-hungry customs 🙁
P.S : speaking of nefarious custom officials , can u advise me a way to buy phones from abroad without all the govt( read corrupt officials) hassle with a reasonable cost ?
The only viable way is to get is via someone coming from abroad…. That’s what I do…. I got my jiayu s3 iocean rock and iuni u3 via my mother who was visiting my brother…….. Otherwise via dhl the cost is not worth it…… Otherwise buy it via Allmytech.pk…..its the same then
i got basically no one abroad (two uncles but don’t get me started about them)
tl;dr , you saying that dhl shipping = allmytech.pk exorbitant costs ?
edit : darn site was under some kinda redesign but i dont see no improvement so far , cant work out newer phones from old , discontinued ones…
Dhl shipping means not only shipping costs…. Because u have to get a noc from pata in order for them to release ur phone…. That takes atleast 7 days and during that time customs stores the phone in there warehouse….. They charge a lot for that….. I got a teclast x98 last year and they charged me 10k for storage for 7 days
so DHL costs >>> Allmytech.pk 🙁
oh well … back to the drawing board for this one …
Thanks for the guidance tho… appreciate it
