Forget the U8 and U9, the Oukitel U10 is now listed for $160

It’s amazing how much the market has changed in the past few months. Companies are beginning to feel the heat from the extensive competition in the smartphone market, and flagships are now a monthly affair.

Oukitel is a name you might not have heard from very long back. But, much like Elephone, the company is managing to stay in the news with new launches every now and then. We only received the Oukitel U8 last week, and here we are, telling you about the U10!

Earlier today, we posted details of the Oukitel U9 which doesn’t look very different from the U8. The U10 though, has a more radical and original design. It has the typical ’rounded square’ look to it, but the rear is reminiscent of some older phones; how it goes together is perhaps going to be subjective.

Gizchina News of the week

The Oukitel U10 will be powered by the MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor, and like any other Chinese flagship, will have the 3GB/16GB combo of RAM/ROM. It’ll have a fingerprint sensor too (you guessed it anyway) and with that, a 13 mega-pixel main camera and a 5 mega-pixel front facing camera. Screen will be 5.5 inches diagonally with a 1920 x 1080p resolution, and Android v5.1 Lollipop will be taking care of software.

The phone is currently listed on Everbuying.net for $159.99 on presale. According to the store, the phone should ship by 10th of August; meanwhile there’s also the U9 which the company will be dealing with. What do you think about the increased frequency of flagship launches?

increased frequency of flagship launches = more cracked nuts = price of nuts increases = buy nuts now!

The increased frequency can only result in poor software support.

It wont buy it if he doesnt crack nuts. It might have the same specs like any other phones and a good design, but for 160 $, what moore do u want?

“The U10 though, has a more RADICAL and ORIGINAL design”, your article is now invalid.
