What started as a community project in CyanogenMod didn’t take too long to evolve into what is know Cyanogen Inc. The commercial flavour of the CyanogenMod OS, i.e., Cyanogen OS, is a sought-after integration with more and more OEMs willing to incorporate the OS into their phones.
Cyanogen Inc. has just been reported to have expanded their personnel with two key hires in Stephen Lawler and Karthick Iyer. Before joining Cyanogen Inc as SVP of Engineering, Stephen Lawler worked with Amazong as VP of Direct Traffic, and had prior to that been CTO of Bing Maps. Karthick Iyer comes from Qualcomm, where he worked with the company to create Snapdragon-optimized solutions for Android. Iyer will be assuming the position of VP of Global Systems at Cyanogen Inc.
