Customizable rear shells have become quite a commonplace ever since OnePlus announced it’d feature those on their first phone. Xiaomi did it with their Mi 4, and a lot of other Chinese OEMs are following suit.
Doogee’s F3 is due for a launch next month, and is set to come in a couple different versions in the F3 and F3 Pro. The F3 will have ‘only’ and HD screen and 2GB RAM, while the F3 Pro is set to feature 3GB RAM and a full HD display.
The company has now announced that the phone is likely to feature signature engraved wooden backs like this one:

I have to admit, it does look cool. However, price is going to play an important role here; if Doogee manage to keep it within the reach of most buyers, the F3 is sure to catch the attention of many.
If this service is indeed offered, buyers will be able to have any name they wish engraved anywhere on the rear wooden covers of the Doogee F3. Pretty neat!
Doogee go on to mention that the final decision to offer the service would depend on customers’ feedback.
