OnePlus Cardboard on sale in India starting 17 July for 99 INR

OnePlus is due to launch the OnePlus 2 on the 27th this month in a rather unique manner. The phone will have a virtual reality launch, and OnePlus wants its fans around the world to participate.

For that, OnePlus have announced the OnePlus Cardboard... which as you might already know is a virtual reality headset and an alternative to Google Cardboard. It was announced today that the VR headset will go on sale in India via Amazon for 99 INR (US$1.5) plus shipping.

The VR headset will work with any smartphone with a screen up to 6 inches big, so it has you covered pretty much. The launch of the OnePlus Cardboard is being carried out just in time so that interested folks can witness the OnePlus 2 launch in VR on the 27th.
