The final launch date of the OnePlus 2 isn’t far away now, and the question on many peoples lips is “How to get a OnePlus 2 invite?”. While we don’t know all the details yet we do know a few ways you will be able to get them.
If you haven’t already read the news, then you missed that OnePlus will be revamping their controversial invite system to make things a little more personal and easier for fans to share invites.
OnePlus 2 invites will actually be physical cards rather than emailed codes, but more importantly their will be a much easier way to receive OnePlus 2 invitations in the first place.
How to get OnePlus 2 invitations?
In the early days of OnePlus, the invite system wasn’t only a system to ensure the company had buyers and not sit on unsold stock, but also a way to market their forum and social media channels. While fans of the OP networks will still have their chances to receive invites to buy the OnePlus 2 there will also be another way.
A new reservation list will allow fans to simply post their email in the OnePlus system and wait to receive an invite. If you were an early forum member then you will be given preferential treatment to receive the code earlier. Everyone else will have to wait to receive their invite.
People buying the OP2 will also receive invites faster than before meaning they can share them with their family or friends as fast as possible.
Speaking of speed it also sounds as though OnePlus will be able to invite more customers than they did last year at each time. Thanks to better performance with the OPO, their will be 30x to 50x more inventory of OP2 than OPO.
We are sure that their will be even more ways to buy the OP2 when it launches and also receive invitations so keep an eye on the news to learn how you can get yours.
Bla! Bla!! Bla!!!. I am actually looking elsewhere.
“Physical” invites are surprising to me :S How will they send them? By snail-mail? Weird…
It all seems a bit irrelevant. The OP2 isn’t even in a 2015 flagship killer, let alone 2016.
This phone isn’t even under consideration as an option.
OPO still haven’t learnt a lesson from past mistakes. The previous phone when offered without an invite system went a begging. They are still scrambling to clear past stock! The experience of a competent phone spoilt by childish shenanigans!
Unlike last year this phone will have a huge competitor called Google Nexus. I’m not sure people will buy it, knowing there’s no CM on board anymore and the price has increased.
Slower SD810? Nah I’m better off with the LeTV X800 or the upcoming X900
I want to buy One Plus Two so the Invite is definitely needed……………Pleeez
I forget this OP2.. looking toward on Nexus 2015..
