Oukitel is doing a good job being in the news since the last few weeks. After announcing the U8, the company has gone on to tell us about the U9, U10 and even the dual-screen U6.

What Oukitel also launched in between these smartphones is the Oukitel A28 smartwatch. The smartwatch is powered by the MT2502a low power chipset from MediaTek, and has the usual suite of features you find in a Chinese smartwatch à la heart rate monitor, health tracking, pedometer and more.

There isn’t a lot known about the device yet (ours is on the way to us for review), but the manufacturer was kind enough to post a hands on video to give us an idea. The watch costs under US$60 shipped on most online stores, and it looks as though it is already in stock at most places. If you’re confused if you should get the Oukitel A28, take a look at the video below which should help you decide.

Looks like a nice enough watch with the standard smartwatch functionality. Well done.
