Oukitel’s on quite a roll, dishing out phones and devices at breakneck speeds.
Only yesterday did we talk about the Oukitel A28 smartwatch (here), and a video with a hands-on of the upcoming Oukitel U10 caught our attention today. The U10 has a bit of a retro look to it, with some decent specifications.
The U10 is powered by the MediaTek MT6753 which seems like the new poster boy for chipsets in town. Besides that, there’s a 5.5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080p resolution, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage and a camera set comprising of a 13 mega-pixel rear shooter and a 5 mega-pixel front.
HotKnot and a fingerprint scanner remain to be the phone’s USP. The body of the phone will measure only 7.9mm thick, with a 2850mAh battery inside. The phone should start shipping early next month, as this listing from Everbuying suggests. It is priced at US$160, but using coupon code EBOU10 will give you a US$10 discount.
While you wait for the supplies to start, take a look at a minute-long hands-on video of the Oukitel U10:
