Asus unveiled today their newest Chromebook Flip C100 convertible laptop. The new laptop packs a 10-inch WXGA display with the resolution of 1280×800 and IPS technology that supports up to 10 finger-touch simultaneously giving you the ability to flip the screen and use it as a tablet without sacrifice.
Another detail is that Asus managed to fit the panel in a very lightweight body weighing under 0,90kg with 15.45mm of thickness resulting in a very portable laptop.
Asus claims the C100 offers up to 9 hours in the battery, which is not the longest runtime in the world but considering the weight and size and the components inside its can be considered a good capacity and should ensure at least one day with moderate usage.

Speaking of the overall specs the Asus C100 features a Rockchip 3288-C quad-core 1.8GHz CPU, with 2-4GB of RAM variants, 16GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 4.1, a HD camera, besides of USB 2.0 ports, micro HDMI and integrated SD card reader.
The two Asus C100 variants (2GB or 4GB RAM) are priced at $249 and $299 respectively. Actually a good price for those looking for a sleek and portable laptop powered by the Google Chrome OS.
