It’s been only one year since Xiaomi first set up shop in India. The company is a near-household name already, which makes it hard to believe its been in the country for only one year.
To celebrate its first anniversary, Xiaomi will announce a new device — a new variant of an old device, rather. The company sent out a teaser via its social streams earlier today, which read ‘Move 4 to double’ with matchsticks arranged to read ’16’, reminiscent of the riddles you read in a lot of comics.
Gizchina News of the week
Xiaomi’s Mi 4 (review) and Mi 4i (review) both lack 32GB variants, and speculation is that it’ll be a 32GB version of either of the two phones that’ll launch. Xiaomi is doing its best to keep it a secret, but popular logic would say that it is going to be a 32GB version of the Mi 4i. We could well be wrong, but if we were to bet our money it would be on the Mi 4i.
Nonetheless, we should know in a couple of days’ time, on July 22nd when the launch is scheduled to happen.

Thank God! This could be done before, crazy chinese people. Cloud speed outside China sucks.
and with SD 808…just to kill us all who allready have buy this peace of crap!?
A couple of weeks ago as a response to MX5, Xiaomi released 32GB Mi4 in China. So probably it’s the Mi4 too, not Mi4i. Weirdly it has just 2GB of RAM.
