ZUK bosses have revealed the first partial render of the upcoming flagship phone today, with a nod toward high-end design.
After seeing what a dog’s dinner the OnePlus 2 supposedly looks after the TENAA leaks, we are in dire need of a new flagship phone that looks a little better than a bad photoshop.
It could be that new comer ZUK are the ones to look at with their new ZUK Z1 phone. Very little is known about the appearance of the Z1, but a render posted on Weibo by the companies CEO does give us a few clues.
Gizchina News of the week
At first glimpse the ZUK Z1 looks a little like the Vivo X5Pro with nicely machined alloy chassis and glass rear. The tapered metal chassis seems to meet the rear glass panel at a slight curve suggesting that a 2.5D panel has been used.
The image also reveals a single external speaker in the base of the phone, and shows us the USB Type C plug too.
Our sources in China have also revealed that the ZUK Z1 will have a 4000+mAh battery, 3GB RAM, Qualcomm chipset and 13 mega-pixel main camera. It has also been suggested that Cyanogen have created the ROM for the phone too, but this remains to be seen.
Looks almost like a Galaxy S6 clone from this one picture. That’s not a bad thing as it is one of the better looking phones. Wonder if it will heat up like an S6 too, one of the worst phones when it comes to cooling.
