Phone maker Bluboo will be adding a touch of added protection to their new Xtouch by way of a 5-inch Sapphire glass panel.
Sapphire glass is a much tougher and stiffer glass material which is especially suited to mobile devices. In the past the material hasn’t made it in to Chinese phones do to the prohibitive expense, but manufacturing and material costs of finally dipped allowing venders to use the material.
One of the first phone makers from China to give their phones Sapphire glass panels will be Bluboo. Bluboo have managed to stay in the public eye these past few months with their X550, a phone with large 5300mAh battery.
Gizchina News of the week
The new Bluboo Xtouch is designed to compete with other flagship phones from China and could even give the OnePlus 2 quite a run for it’s money.
As well as the use of Sapphire glass, the Bluboo team have also incorporated a fingerprint scanner under a physical home button, and build the dual glass phone on an alloy chassis.
Hardware is impressive to say the least too. A powerful Mediatek Helio X10 (MT6795) chipset will ensure blazing performance, and 4GB RAM means no bottle neck. Other highlight’s include a Sony IMX214 13 mega-pixel main camera, 3050mAh battery and FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution display.
Bluboo haven’t said how much they plan to sell the Bluboo Xtouch for but if they keep the cost low we will be in for one rather special phone.

Nice
At last, the 5 inch market is getting exciting! This Bluboo, Doogee F3 pro, Zopo speed 7, Oukitel U6 etc. Going to be spoilt for choice soon 😀
If the eighty’s and the ninety’s was a race over MHz in the PC realm then this era’s battle should be over camera megapixels count. Sorry but this camera lacks the goods.
Provided the price will be below 300$ this is actually a great offer! Can’t wait to find out the price.
I’ll keep an eye on this…
That back cover design, stolen from the HTC Diamond. So pathetic.
meh … HTC is so over priced
So having the same price AND BETTER build quality than Samsung/Apple/LG etc is being overpriced? So HTC has to be the only one that must make a loss in order to not be overpriced compared to other plastic shit devices?!
But fact stays fact, can’t deny they stole the design. Which was my point and not the troll point you’re trying to make.
so? it’s not the first and won’t be the last time a design was stolen or an asian smartphone company stole something from another asian smartphone company. look at the elephone s2. was already released, has the same back design.
also, the htc diamond is one ugly piece of crap from centuries ago.
don’t you think one can reminisce design wise and take the best (and only good) part of a design and reinterprete it?
see it as a homage. 😉
i don’t troll around … ask anyone here
MT6795 implies blazing performance? In what, swiping across launcher pages and app-drawer pages without stutter?
MT6795 means stuttery HD gaming, mad-stuttery FHD gaming due to a very poor GPU, with a decent Android experience.
All thise “unoptimized-rom” excuses aside, every phone with the 6795 demonstrated on YouTube stutters when switching between a large number of apps.
Qualcomm fanboy? I have no bad gaming expierince with a lower clocked mtk6752 man so stfu. There are phones with olderVersion oft the mtk with only 2.m Hz but the Version in the meizumx 5 has no problems man
fan bois everywhere … guess they love their heaters too much , all warm and fuzzy 😀
Lol
He is right by the way ! Mt6752 has much better gpu for gaming then this xelio x10 , just google
That’s not necessary true. Typically with mediatek chipsets come with different gpu depending on the vendor. For example one phone might have a Mali t-760 and another might have a Power VR6200. Btw, a PowerVR6200 is better.
stupid boooy give jjjust IoNE siigle exemple of mt6795 with other gpu then vr 6200
The 6200 is older than the t760, but does a lot more GFLOPs. The 760 MP2 configuration in the MT6752 is about Adreno 405 category, which is pretty average.
The G6200 two cluster setup does around 90 GFLOPs which takes it to Adreno 320 (Version 2 – SD600) level. Nowhere near as good as a Adreno 330 or a PowervrG6430 (Intel Z3580) but MUCH better performer than the T760 MP2
The t760 MP6 configuration is much more powerful though. Its used in the S6.
To summarize, the G6200 in the MT6795 is architecturally older than the T760 MP2, but is far more powerful nevertheless and should perform in and around Adreno 320 level. Good enough for 95% of current games on FHD.
I just did and found out, that G6200 in MT6795 has more then double the power of T760 MP2 in MT6752 or T720 MP4 in MT6753.
where did you read that just google t760 vs vr 6200
I read it here: http://kyokojap.myweb.hinet.net/gpu_gflops/
I didn’t find any other source of good information on these two graphics. And it would not make any sense to equip the high-end MT6795 with worse graphics then the middle class MT6752/MT6753.
Well , Winter is coming …. so, could be handy at some point !
AHAHA!
Presuming this will see in the EXCESS of $300 they might as well have added the IMX 234 ( LG G4 ) , IMX 240 ( Samsung Galaxy S6 ) OR even the more bolder IMX 230 (Huawei Honor 7) to REALLY give OP and other big guys an ACTUAL RUN for their sweet SWEEET cash !
IMX 214 looks like boring and a tried and tested sensor being used in all kinds now …
a more distinct cam sensor would have bought a whole new taste to the x-touch , making it wayy wayyyy more desirable
the pro version will have a better sensor, the imx220. and i think the versions will differ greatly, as i think the pro variant will be the one with 4GB, imx220, helios x10 and fullhd and that will heft it over the 300€ mark.
probably the “not pro” variant will get just 3GB, the imx214, the mt6752/3 and only hd and therefore will be priced much lower. at least i hope so. 🙂
hmm….
Finally some good news for my next phone. But I would be even happier if they put in IMX230 at least. I hope it will be on presale in the comming weeks.
Now this looks good!

I have the impression that the 1+2 has been already chosen best flagship of the year since yesterday. It’s like there’s nothing better out there now…. Sorry to burst in like that, but I honestly think that there’s too much hype about it.
We’re being flooded with new phones every month, and I doubt that opo will be able to keep up the pace unless they do the same.
it has not been chosen best flagship. the company itself titled it that way. i know of no one here who sees it as the best flagship of the year. some might like and buy it, but no one can argue that it will be the best specswise. 🙂

Mt6795 has very poor gpu integration so forget about gaming on that fhd screen better mt6752
http://kyokojap.myweb.hinet.net/gpu_gflops/
MT6795 has nearly double the gflops of MT6752 / MT6753.
cpu outperfoms but not gpu stupid people just google or go see letv test for gaming, MT6795 has double of cpu calculating but graphics is very very pooor
and how do you know this? elaborate please?

shame about the patterned design on the back 🙁 Personal preference i know, but I hate such designs, makes me think the phone is cheap looking/novelty
Not true mt6795 comes with vr6200 wich is mush slower then 6752 . t760 gpu
Bytheway s6 uses tT70 mp6 vs mt6752 t760mp2 gpu
5″ is too small ?
Their might be a pro versions with a phablet size of 5.5 inches to keep your hopes up. 😀
would be wonderful phone to buy 🙂

you might want to add the “pro” to your spec recital. cause the bluboo xtouch might not get 4GB of ram and the helios x10.
but seeing these news it seems that the price will horrendously rise above the 300€ mark.
sad news as i was soooo hoping for a good new 5incher. maybe the “not pro” version will only see a mt6752 and 3GB of ram and only dragontrail or gorilla glass and therefore will be priced much cheaper…

Those bezels….
BUDGET PHONE PEOPLE!!! DO NOT CRAVE ABOUT HUGE TOP SHELF CAMERA, !!!
Just lets hope for GOOD camera App to get the best out of that sensor and it migth beat a 16/20mpx one. everything else sounds good to me…. except for the battery wich beeing a crystal+metal gizmo pretty much is gonna be non-remobable, so should be bigger. i would not mind my cell beening a bit chubby if it will last +24hours without me worring about it.

BLUBOO X Touch is the RAM 3GB smartphone, not 4GB one.

Bluboo xtouch has been sold at $99.99, it is unbelievable. i saw from Geekbuying. http://goo.gl/Laab5l, but it is RAM 3GB, NOT 4GB.
Yes, this phone features 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM with MTK6753 chipset. Hei, I found some great videos on its youtube channel (http://bit.ly/1U16TcQ) for this Bluboo xtouch.

With a full sapphire screen, if really true though I’m not holding my breath, I would be curious to see how much this thing will weigh.
