The Siswoo R9 Darkmoon dual screen phone is causing something of an excitement in the Chinese tech world. Ahead of its launch here is the first intro video.

Yotaphone were the initial innovators of the dual screen phone movement, but Chinese phone makers have quickly took note and embraced the idea. Smartphone maker Siswoo plans to be one of the first Chinese phone makers to launch their dual screen phone, which will be available to European customers, later this year.

The video shows a 3D render of the Siswoo R9 Darkmoon and lists a few of the phones more notable features, but actual photos of a working sample have already been released proving that the phone is more than just a concept.

Pretty bad ass. As soon as e-ink improves its refresh rates by at least a 5x factor I will go for a dual screen phone.
