Bluboo XFire aims to be the worlds cheapest 4G LTE phone

Bluboo want to produce the worlds most affordable 4G LTE phone and say that they have cracked the code with the $60 Bluboo XFire.

Yesterday we saw that Doogee were planning to launch the Doogee X5 for $49.99, however that low-cost phone doesn’t have LTE until you pay more and opt for the Pro version of the phone.

The latest Bluboo XFire though will cost around $60 (around 399 Yuan) once launched, and ship with LTE as standard.

Bluboo have confirmed that they are building the Xfire around a 46bit Mediatek MT6735 chipset, but have not gone in to any details about the rest of the specification and tell us that details will be revealed in due time.

Also this year we can expect to see the launch of the very promising Bluboo Xtouch, a flagship smartphone with fingerprint scanner, 4GB RAM and a powerful Mediatek Helio X10 chipset.

If it was Doogitis it would’ve been 164 bit!

    • I hope that’s what they mean. The hell is 46 bit lol

No, it’s 46-bit. They’re only shipping each one with about two-thirds of a CPU, that’s why they’re able to sell it so cheap. 😉

They had to make it cheaper so they went for the new 46bit SOC from Mediatek … you’ve know idea how much cutting a few bits can save 😀

Its cheaper this way – the 6735 has the infamous “world mode” plus built in lte support going for a last gen mtk processor meaned they needed to add their own antenaes/bands wich raises the cost significantly

Xtouch this year?! Hell, I want it this month already! 🙂 Although MT6735 LTE for $60 is also tempting. For my grandpa 🙂
