Only a few hours have passed since we reported about the Meizu m2 note launch in India. If you’re based in the EU and have been lusting for an m2 note, what you read next will be good news to you.
The m2 note can now be ordered by EU folks directly via Meizu. Unlike earlier, when the order had to be placed on Meizu’s own online store, the m2 note will come via Amazon. The phone is priced £139.99, and you can order one here.
Gizchina News of the week
To remind you of the specifications: the m2 note has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core processor in the MediaTek MT6753, 2GB of RAM, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, a 5 mega-pixel front facing camera and a 3100mAh battery.
The phone is only for pre-order now, and is due to start shipping 14th August. Is the m2 note a phone you would buy? Or do you know of better alternatives? Let us know in the comments section.
Bought the Chinese version (i guess) and I love the phone, it looks great and feels the smooth. The camera is ok but not great. I don’t really notice the speed difference with my previous phone (htc one m7) and the rest of the phone works fine for me. What will be the difference in the european version?
I hope so too, but it is not specified. According to Meizu they are very bad at representing the actual band supported for FDD-LTE. The Meizu MX5 is said to not have 800mhz at several sites, but at Dealsprime and Geekbuying they say it has. So it’s quite confusing, and same thing seems to apply for the M2 Note…
100%, the meizu phones dont have band20 (800mhz). They aren’t making phones especially for the rest of the world, but they make them for China.
Strange that 2 serious sites like dealsprime and geekbuying have given wrong specs. Also told me by mail it have 800. But I agree with you, all past have not had it. I do not want to take the chance….
Obviously it wouldn’t at least come with any Chinese apps and with the Play store already installed, also additional European languages, Euro / UK power adapters etc. The difference after some tweaking probably isn’t huge though.
