The first images for Ulefone’s wearable, the Ulefone uWear, have been sent over to us showing off an alloy metal body.
Ulefone asked fans last month to help them name a new wearable they had in development. The resulting name is the Ulefone uWear which we have seen for the first time in these early release photos.
The images only reveal the rear and side of the smartwatch and confirm that the device will have an all alloy body with a similar strap retention system as the Apple Watch. We see both a silver and a smoke black body option in the photos and it appears the wearable will have a simple switch on the rear to turn the device on or off.
We can also make out four round marks on what looks like a removable cover. It is unknown at this time but either the battery of the watch can be removed or the rear is shaped like this to locate in to a charging dock.
Ulefone aren’t the only Chinese phone maker with a wearable availble. Zopo recently released a smartwatch as have Oukitel, and there are even rumours that UMi are going to enter the wearable market soon too. Watch this space.
