ZUK Z1 to be an audio phone? Invites include wooden music box

zuk z1 launch invite

ZUK will be holding two launch events this month and have sent out invitations to Chinese media that include a wooden music box.

ZUK will launch the ZUK Z1 in China on the 11th and holding a separate ‘international’ launch in Shenzhen on the 22nd August. Launch invites have been sent to Chinese media for the launches that include a wooden music box.

It is quite common for Chinese phone makers to send out interesting gifts with their launch invites and we have seen companies send parts of their new devices as invites, interactive holographic invites and even parts of rival companies phones, but this is the first music box.

Chances are this is a huge hat tip at some music orientated feature of the ZUK Z1 flagship phone from the Lenovo back brand. Either ZUK have packed the Z1 with high end audio equipment or we can expect to see some audio equipment at the launch.

We’ll have more ZUK news as it is available.

Me too, audio capabilities of a phone are important to me and one of the main features that influence my decision. Looking forward to seeing what they have planned.

So many things will happen on August,11th!! Any reasons for that? is it a ‘special’ day in calendar in China?

I think it’s ‘take the limelight off our competitors day’, everyone sh*tting on each others launch event!

In my opinion Vivo is the golden standard for amazing audio in phones. Wonder how this will match up.
